I’m writing you a letter
My letters are stars and my canvas is sky The sunrise is greeting and sunset is goodbye I’m writing in the morning and on sunny afternoon And in the lonely evening, and at night under the moon I’m writing the nightingale singing so blue Does it know that I’m still thinking of you? When I come out of the words, then I paint. My brush is air and my colors is rain I’m painting the rainbows and flowers and trees All the beauty I want you to see Look all around you and above All I wrote and painted for you with love I’m writing you in fall and winter and spring And then I’m sending my letter with wind Tomorrow I’ll write again. |
