I've been trying to meet someone now for a few years with online dating. The first time we met everything was fine and out of the blue ,she says I found someone else .OK 2ND time same thing . And most or about half the time you really don't know who these people are. It could be. 65 year old dude sitting in front of a computer lol .I just don't know anymore but I do know that this online dating stuff is very strange to me what's everyone else think ???

Your concerns are justified as this type of site is full of ways that can be deceptive and painful. First I would not restrict myself to one site, nor exclude meeting people in public as the feedback there is immediate, direct and personal three advantages over internet dating where people are free to be honest, or not and so as they wish.. Hope that helps but relying on one site is not wise as too many here are miscreants and fraudulent..

Take the time to talk to people. If they want to go off of the website right away it is odten not for a good reason. Don't fall for snyone who wants money.
Join the conversations in the forums. If you do go out and meet someone, be safe. |
