when attempting to search for local singles my search results are from all over the country (United States). I have set it to a 25mile search to my zip code

Perhaps there ain't any in this area .. so it gives you all the possible options .. Try other distances too .. 150 miles might work better methinks Welcome to forums (finally, lol)!

no you are wrong. i have 250 miles and still getting everystate
