Today's events in Washington , with the exception of several hundred agitators and paranoid lunatics, went very good. Trumps speech was short but powerful. He echoed the voice of everyday Americans( the forgotten citizens). He seems to understand that he works for us not the other way around. I have supported Trump throughout most of the primaries and the general election,I truly believe he has set his sights on making America strong again with common sense policy's and decisions. I hope everyone will at least give him a honest chance.

No , not at all. I voted for him based on basically the same words he spoke tonight.

And I will judge him during his first 4 years based on actions. Just like I have with the other Presidents.

He bucked both parties, because American's were sick of politics as usual. As I am.

Now we will see if he delivers.

As a Brit all I see is someone who loves his Country and wants to put America before anyone else and rightly so.

I hope he says no when other Countries come calling for Military help, because they will

America has always been looked at as that big strong retarded kid in your neighborhood... you want him around to fight for you, but you don't want to hang out with him

Its about time that stops.

No, of course not. Trump has a lifetime of past actions which are involved with my opinions about him, and no carefully arranged momentary pomp and circumstance can reverse that lifetime.

I also have so far, and always will, base my opinions about anyone, on what they actually DO.

Especially in Trump's case, since what he SAYS, contradicts what he SAID moments before.

My HOPE, is that, just as I have done with every previous President for good or ill, that he will follow through on the things he said that I agreed with, and will fail to succeed with those I did not.

Has theTrump inauguration changed your opinion of Trump ?

Not really.
A bunch of words, fanfare, fake smiles and glad-handing doesn't really change anything.

,I truly believe he has set his sights on making America strong again

I don't think that's his job.

I think that's the job of "everyday Americans( the forgotten citizens)" regardless of who heads the executive branch of government.

The president simply has some power to control the level of government interference with "everyday Americans( the forgotten citizens)."

I hope everyone will at least give him a honest chance

IMO (in conjunction with the entire OP, rather than a stand alone statement) that's like saying "we've got a new whipmaster! Let's give him a chance. He might not strike so hard, as often, or rub salt in the wounds like the last guy, he cares about us average whipees!"

I travel a lot... to dangerous places (as well as some safe ones I suppose). His resolutions will make life far more dangerous for me on top of what's already there, but I'll improvise as I always do.

To me, it's just all part of a day. Just another turn in the road. other than that, I'm not apart of the human experience, as I don't participate, or converse, other than here. I merely observe, maybe help in dire circumstances of others if possible, then disappear and move on. I'm way below the human race, and considered such, and very comfortable and happy with that fact, and I'm overlooked for the most part, so to me, it all matters little as the great cog turns a click.

For someone that simply has some power to controll the level of government interference your right, Trump has interfered with companys to not move all their production out of the country and save many jobs. pretty good for someone with such limited power as you suggest, and he did that before he was in office. As far as your insane statement about whipmaster and whipees, its obvious you have'nt been listening to him. if people would listen to the man himself instead of believeing what the far left media would have you believe than you could make a educated decision on your own.He spoke of giving the government back to the people . thats why our constitution was designed. to protect the people from their very own government. so until you can reply on what has happened instead of what a few lunitics think is going to happen then keep it to your self
