what makes a beautiful tree is the lights the more lights the better...............
 mine will have over 1000 lights when I fnish up with it...........400 already on it and added 3 strands to each section of the tree that are chasing lights

well the tree should be painted (LOL) it is actually a fertilizer thing to help keep it fresh then cut the bottom off arrond 2-3 inches and keep in alot of water

they suck about cleaning up after them....i kept a distbuster by my sofa when i had one

you don't paint it on they do it in the fields in like july
there are thousands of acres of tree farms around here but I have heard of what you are saying peachie in the past we used some sugar type mix but I don't remember what my g'pa did I go out and cut my own prob not for a week or two yet we will put up all the other dec. but waiting for company too come over for the tree |

you need to cut the base up a few inches cause the sapp dry's and wont let the tree absord the water in the base
|

not that bad ladies they make a tree bag to use around the base
then put your normal base decorations on arround then when your done pull the bag up over the tree no mess |

I use to get a real tree but they are soo expensive $21 for a 6 footer
I bought a fake at a garage sale for $5 |
