Even know it is perfectly legal to create a new currancy backed by gold or silver, in the case of high powered officials abusing the fiat system. The feds arn't having it. They must be really shaking in they're boots.
I sincerely regret to inform you that about 8:00 this morning a dozen > FBI and Secret Service agents raided the Liberty Dollar office in > Evansville. > > For approximately six hours they took all the gold, all the silver, > all the platinum and almost two tons of Ron Paul Dollars that where > just delivered last Friday. They also took all the files, all the > computers and froze our bank accounts. > > We have no money. We have no products. We have no records to even > know what was ordered or what you are owed. We have nothing but the > will to push forward and overcome this massive assault on our liberty > and our right to have real money as defined by the US Constitution. > We should not to be defrauded by the fake government money. > > But to make matters worse, all the gold and silver that backs up the > paper certificates and digital currency held in the vault at Sunshine > Mint has also been confiscated. you people are seriously brainwashed, if you are not outraged by this travesty. I guess being american is all about having a **** in your picture, and talking about meaningless things, like being bored, and your own self-pity. Don't you people understand what is happening to this country?! Don't you people understand what the constitution is all about?! arn't you people american at all? damn the founding fathers would be pissed, that our civil libertys are being dismembered one day at a time, because no one is willing to take the time to care about they're freedom.
"When you give up your freedoms for security you lose both". Ben Franklin. |

This is the first time that I have heard of this matter, but I find it as upsetting as you do. The unfortunate truth, as you have suggested, is that ultimately, not enough people will care. It is too easy to take a "not as as bad as China" sort of view and overlook violations of our rights.
We are a complacent nation. We live comfortable lives. Talking about civil rights violations upsets the status quo. That makes people uncomfortable and we can't have that! Many people would rather pretend that we're overreacting or that it doesn't affect them so that they can go back to living in comfort. It is very much a "Fahrenheit 451" kind of society in which we live. As long as the TV's on and the streets are safe, why should we care about those weirdos and their Ron Paul Dollars? |

haha, lmao, chasing paranoid?! I am simply being realistic. It's a sad world we live in. Thank you once again camel. You have made my night. As for people who tell me to get a life? how can I live my life, when we have special interest groups willing to regulate my freedoms. Boring post huh, I guess it wasn't so boring to the people who got ripped off by the fed. All I have to say is wait till the economy collapses and the comfort zone is no more. Then people will email me, and be like oh neil you were right this whole time. I should of listened to you. Now it's to late, I am forced to be a slave to a government that doesn't give a rats ass about me. I should of stood up, and started changing my ideas about what the government should do for us. If I would of done that, life would be a lot better.
