Why cant people not work anymore on sundays, I am getting a bit peved that we can no longer have sunday as a rest day What about you??

You can always tell your boss you aren't coming in on Sunday.
If you work hourly you can always tell the scheduler not to schedule you on Sundays.
You can always look for a job that doesn't require/ask you to come in on Sunday.
You can always start your own business and choose not to work on Sunday.

Other than that, I kind of like businesses that are open on Sunday.
Maybe I need gas. Maybe I need groceries. Maybe I want Chinese food or pizza. Maybe I want to go to the movies. Maybe I want to buy a space heater after my heating unit breaks and the business that fixes it can't come out on Sundays or until next week.
Maybe I cut off my toe and need to go to the hospital for reattachment.
I'm glad people work on Sundays.

No, nothing in the New Testament changed that.

Oh well, not everyone believes the Bible anyway.

We are also not stranded in the desert relying solely upon the Engine of Days to provide nourishment with a double portion on Saturday and nothing on Sunday.
