Is it too much to scare away potential friends or just enough to have a few...

Your profile is fine. You seem to be a lovely woman on many levels. There is nothing to scare off friends.
However, should you look to move forward into a potential relationship there are two things that might scare off someone. First, is a young child and second is the separated marital status. Location might be a factor as well depending on circumstances. |

Your profile looks good to me. As stated before your location and the small children could factors for a relationship. Personally I wouldn't put the child images up on profiles.
As for just friendship i see nothing wrong with it. I wish you the best of luck here. |
