Just an observation

I've often wondered how some people with children can be online what appears to be all day. Who's taking care of these children? It's sad to think they are being neglected this way.

I know that a lot of people just don't sign off that doesn't mean that they are sitting here posting posting and posting.

oh, please...it's pretty darned easy to jump on and reply in between all the monotonous stuff that running a household requires.

in fact, it took me all of...oh...thirty seconds to type this.

I agree ^^^
I have 2 sons, very active boys, and can unbelievably perform more than one task at a time. As a single parent, you gain many talents, all used to try to have a somewhat normal adult life while also taking care of children. AND right now, my children are doing their evening reading.

Well some do post and post and post. It's unfortunate. I've seen it in chatrooms and on dating sites. Year's of observation.

two of mine are in bed, and the other two are having their "quiet time", personal time to read, reflect, and decompress before bed.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not speaking of casual internet use.

anything that a parent does can become an issue...

there needs to be a balance, and as kids age...they don't need quite as much interaction.

heh, mine can even take a bath by themselves.

yeah well some have kids that are in school most of the day and then are on when they go to bed to relax...

I know balance is key, you're so right. Thanks for your thoughts.

I'm on a sugar high right now. I need a warm glass of milk and a bedtime story.
