Neath Hades
By: KS Neath Hades' shade in the noonday sun where serenades a heart hard won, methodic as a kettledrum, pulsing, beats a rhythmic thrum pleading let me be your only one. In Hades' shadow Neath a moonbeam bright woodwind reeds from cascading height drop symphonic notes on the still of night, and climax now in crescendo avowing everything's going to be all right. In Hades' kisses all that exists is dependency bound to that which he wishes and all that he doesn't as if it wasn't, were already banished from his sight. In Hades' anger an imminent danger there'll be no shelter from that cruel heart's tug. Still full beholden to something that's holding me captive to a cool, dark love. In Hades' embrace is the liberty he takes with his ingress and I acquiesce losing myself in our bodies melding my doubts effacing his will retracing upon my mind one breath at a time. |
