I moved to Manchester around 3 weeks ago. I established an IT company here and after spending a couple of weeks I guess I am ready to discover this beautiful city. Last weekend I did my best but couldn't find where to go and how to socialise. I could only find Manchester 235 casino and some coffee shops to meet with people.. I am a social guy and I prefer to meet with people in day time events instead of night clubs. Actually I like clubbing but I prefer not to meet with someone under a loud noise so any suggestions will be much appreciated..... what do you do to have fun in Manchester and any recommendation?

There are lots of places to go to in Manchester, around the printworks/Victoria station is fairly popular as is the piccadilly gardens.
There is the National football museum if you're into football, which is good and it's free, and also the Salford docks area there is the museum there too.
And plenty of live music venues too if that's your thing?
