24 hrs of A Christmas Story... I never miss it every year!

I hear ya Bearfan. I watch that **** when it starts on Christmas Eve. It is now a tradition.

Just so many classic lines from this movie. And the lamp. OMG!

Yes it is a classic that I enjoy every year. I like when the hounds eat the turkey and when his mother wrapped his little brother up that he fell down and really couldn't get up! Oh and when ralphie stuck his tongue to the pole!

That was Flick that stuck his tongue to the pole.

Gotta love the leg lamp.... oh how cheesy it was!

Flick: Ah, baloney. What would your old man know about anything like that?
Schwartz: He knows, because he once saw a guy stick his tongue to a railroad track on a bet, and the fire department had to come get the guy's tongue off the track, because he couldn't get it off. (Randy is trying to catch up).

Flick: Are you kidding? Stick my tongue to that stupid pole? That's dumb!
Schwartz: That's 'cause you know it'll stick!

Schwartz: Oh yeah?
Flick: Yeah!
Schwartz: Well I double-DOG-dare ya!
Ralphie as Adult: [narrating] NOW it was serious. A double-dog-dare. What else was there but a "triple dare ya"? And then, the coup de grace of all dares, the sinister triple-dog-dare.
Schwartz: I TRIPLE-dog-dare ya!
Ralphie as Adult: [narrating] Schwartz created a slight breach of etiquette by skipping the triple dare and going right for the throat!

I got the leg lamp!!!

My brother got it for me a couple of years back. It's proudly displayed in my living room.

Love this movie my sons and I have been watching it for years!!
