Topic: What question would you ask God?? | |

Thanks Tom, so well put, I also go along with the control aspect of it The Christians were really naughty in the day! All religions are naughty in different ways. All religions have good qualities as well. Societies are built on religious beliefs. Religions are vital to establishing morals which control behaviors so society can flourish. As understanding of reality gets clearer religions start to lose their control effectiveness from their inconsistencies. Reality doesn't care if you believe in it or not, it persists anyway. Belief can be a form of delusion if there is no reality to reinforce it. People are starting to understand reality clearer and religions have taken a hit. Reasoning is also more abundant so people get stress or conflict when reality doesn't jive with doctrine. The important thing to remember is that other people's delusions are their own. If they are content in those beliefs it should not matter to you unless those beliefs interfere with your perception of reality. Where the problem occurs is when those delusional beliefs are imposed upon others. "You Must believe as I do or you must die." As our species matures, we will all be able to co-exist no matter what we believe. To each their own. |

This is wrong question cause God is shapeless theosophist so you can only feel it... He is everywhere and in everything...you will know everything if you know to god so you have no questions to ask

What question would you ask God?
I wouldn't. It's God. If God wanted me to know or understand something...then I know and understand it. No questions necessary. Asking God questions kinda implies God doesn't know what I would want to know and needs to be asked. Otherwise God's keeping information from me for my own good, for God's own good, because God's capricious and arbitrary, or because God want's to keep information from me in order to cause fear and insecurity. Either way, asking questions would ultimately be pointless. I wouldn't understand the answer, I wouldn't get the answer I wanted just the information God wanted me to have, or be lied to for God's own purpose which may be to hurt me or cause me doubt and pain. And if God lied to me? Or God didn't answer just made my curiosity feel sated? How could I ever prove God wrong? God is not bound by my reasoning or logic. I am. Of course that's all assuming God's omniscient and omnipotent. If God's not...then we're all screwed as he's just some long lived guy with super powers. If I believed in God, and in considering a concept of "God," I couldn't accept that. So...I wouldn't ask God anything. I'd just trust God. If you had a chance to meet God one-on- one
Then that would be proof of God's existence. And that pretty much answers any question. Any question that may come to mind would seem pointless in the face of being in the presence of God. |

"I'm a big, big fan! I really loved your earlier work, in particular. I mean, the Big Bang was inspirational! And the way you dealt with those dinosaurs...WOW! I know you're omnipresent and omniscient and all that, and depending on who you listen too, you take various forms and go by various names but all that aside, can you please let England win the World Cup next year?
