Those things have ALWAYS been confused. Often, on purpose.
The biggest challenge for most of us, is that ut takes a while to figure out which is which WITHIN OURSELVES. And only after we do, do we have a shot at identifying it in someone else. Keep trying and observing, within and without, and you'll find a way. |

Is it Lust or it is Love
I don't know. What "it" are you referring to? All that comes to mind from this question are teenagers being flooded with hormones, driven to emotional knee jerks, and then saying something like "You just don't know! It's true love! It's real! You can't know how I feel!" Something from an after school special. People these days tend to confuse the two.
I don't think most adults do. I think at best a lot of adults believe love easily accompanies lust. But I think a lot of people promise or confess love in order to satiate lust. And the pleasure incentivizes the rose colored glasses to keep from questioning it too deeply when they're interacting. So it's not confusion so much as trusting something that isn't real. You must havr lust to love a person.
Well that's going to make mothers day awkward. Of which from the definition of love, i think lust dont fit it
I think it fits in with Websters definitions. Which definition of love are you using? in reality they walk side by side.
IMO not really. I do think a lot of people tend to not understand the process or role of love and lust in relationships and mating and when lust starts waning they think the relationship and love is "stale." |

I will try to help and clear up some of the confusion, Lust is when all you want out of the other person is sex. Love is when sex is only one small part of the relationship and the other person becomes an intricate part of most aspects of your life. You can have lust that turns into love but it seldom works the other way and it is possible to lust after someone and never love them.

Incorrect my friend.... Lust is a physical, turn on, sexual form of attraction Love is more mentality, emotional, sentimental form of attraction The two can be confusing at first, but become clear when you sit back and think about the intentions, or the thing that influences your emotion... one will last forever, the other bout 10 minutes. |
