Honesty is more than not lying. It is truth telling, truth speaking, truth living, and truth loving.

Honesty is subjective and perspective

Ex: There is a horrible car accident. Each driver in different cars sees the accident from different perspectives and gives somewhat different accounts of how the accident happened to the police. There are pedestrian as well as other vehicle witnesses. They each have slightly different stories on who was at fault and how the accident occurred. Are they lying or are they giving an account of how they saw and perceived the accident. Everyone has a perspective that they believe to be true. Some are convinced that lies are truth. Are they lying? To their point of view they are telling the truth.

Which is why I to see things from another person's perspective. Then there is out and out lying. Which yes is despicable.

I hate a lier

Then you have a couple of choices.
1. Wallow in hate, isolating yourself in your righteousness.

2. Take the opportunity to learn why people lie, how they lie, how to spot them, when and where it matters, how to prepare and adapt to the consequences.

honesty

tends to be embraced when it's rewarded rather than demanded.

lier

tend to flourish in punishment, expectations, ultimatums, and demands.

Lier is someone who rests or reclines.

I guess I don't like lazy azzes either.

'lier
(noun) : slang for Chevrolet Cavalier. This coupe is widely considered the coolest automobile on the market.

As for "liars," that's too broad a label, and is used to casually and vitriolically to simply accept by itself.

There are plenty of occasions where making less than accurate statements is an act of anything from bravery, to deep concern.

So I need specifics.

But if the idea is targeting people who lie to someone who they claim to love, about things which they know will mess up their ability to benefit from that person being in their life, then absolutely. There are few things worse in the world.

Honesty for me is what your heart tells you to do or say, what is right in the eyes of God and your fellowmen. Being true to yourself, to God and the people.
