When we dream, we are relaxed and free,
Inside our dreams we have no more to see,
But when we dream within a dream,
Does this seduce reality and ease the screams,

When we see a bird as it glides with grace,
Or in a mirror we look that shows no face,
Do we leap with faith into a brand new land,
That is graced with comfort or just turns into sand,

The morning shows the tortures and trials,
And the hurdles we face like endless miles,
What we really fear does it show its face,
In the silence of dreams as they slowly surface,
