actually a boomerang would handle either one of those cards nicely, worldslayer is VERY difficult 2 use (unless hes tinkering 4 it) and the gargoyle can b bounced/countered or go after it when its in his hand with discard spells, i primarily play blue so my obvious solution is a bounce or mess with his mana base so he cant activate it without messing his resources up
and phage wouldnt take out an indestructible creature btw |

If we're going with blue, I think that it would be ironic and amusing to cast Ovinize on his Darksteel Gargoyle in response to the Worldslayer ability on the stack. It loses all abilities, including the ability that makes it indestructible.
