Smoking and pathetic pick up lines that show how shallow and desperate a man is. pathetic pick up lines reflect a mans social immaturity as he does not know how to relate to a woman as a person and so must reduce her to a cliché he knows rather than learning about himself and women in general so that he can share genuine conversation easily and have entertaining conversation ( these are learned social skills and are available if one is intelligent enough to seek them out!)
