Ok, this is my dilemma at the moment. I've been talking to this guy who I think is really great and I'm really starting to like him alot, considering we have been talking only a couple weeks. I think he's pretty interested in me...pretty sure. But he's several states away. I guess what I'm asking is if, in the near or far future, I do indeed think he is "the one" for me, how do I bring up the subject of pursueing a relationship without being embarassed, or feel like I'm asking too much?

I think, the best thing to do is continue to talk, give him the opportunity to make the first move. I imagine he will. Good luck to you!

Well, do you think he feels the same way as you? If so, I think you should ask him what he is feeling. If he says he feels the same way, then I think you have your answer. If you are not sure, then like Mark said, keep talking and feeling him out.

As for distance? Well, if you two want to start a relationship, then I feel that distance is going to be something to discuss. It will take work (what relationship doesn't?) but in this case it will take more work on both of you guys' part. But, if you two really like one another, then work it out. Don't let distance come between you.

Just keep talking and see what develops from there -- anything is possible.

I just had a LDR and it was fantastic. The distance is no big deal if it is the right person.

So if you really like him, and want to meet in person, go for it!! And if he is the right person for you, he should understand any questions you have concerning commitment to a LDR.

Could be worse. What if two people showed mutual interest in each other, but they were seperated by the Atlantic Ocean:cry: ?

At least the two of you can drive to each other.

Uniqueflowerforyou , we can give you advice here, but you'll never know for sure until the two of you talk about the relationship. The worst that can happen is he says no. At least that's better than not knowing. Good luck to you, and I hope it all works out for you two.

I dont see what the big deal is.....plane tickets across states are cheap and so are greyhound buses. Its alot more expensive when there is another country involved......but even then, I think the most I ever spent to go to california was $300.00
