Decided to put on a pot of coffee while I prepare dinner. And I was wiping down the counters and was wondering why my counter was so wet. And I am looking at the coffee pot, and it is filling up with grounds. I am thinking, OK, I know I put that coffee in right. So I open it up to see what the problem was. Just to discover that I forgot to put in the filter basket in the back of it. You would think that this is just an honest mistake. But I tell you this..........................

dont feel bad .. i work with a guy who never made coffee before. one day he decides to do it.. got his water ready... put the grounds in the water oops did i forget to say that he didnt know anything about the filter lol.

Well my finger tips are a little red, as the grounds were still hot when I went to dig them out. Got it all cleaned out. And another pot brewing.

Cajin maybe your old co-worker and I can get together and write a book. "COFFEE MAKING FOR DUMMIES"

Hi Whisper! I've done something similar....I didn't put the pot in the correct position and the coffee ended up dripping out and around the carafe...made an awful mess......and speaking of coffee.. it's cool here... maybe I'll go make a pot..
