Just curious who out there loves the greatest era in the horror genre, and what are some of the favorites. I'm sure Nightmare on Elm Street series, Friday the 13th series, Halloween sequels, Child's Play, Hellraiser 1 and 2 will come up. I know all of those are embedded into legend status. Personally, one of my favs of that period is Night of the Demons. So is the classics, The Burning and Demons 1 and 2. I just love the period of the horror film and looking to sell who else loves these films like I do.

A lot of great horror films came from that decade. It's also the decade when make-up effects artists became the rock stars of the genre.

Demons 1 and 2, and Night Of The Demons are a blast, another 80s horror film with Demon in the title is Night Of The Demon about a killer Sasquatch.

The Burning is good, love 80s slashers, some of my favorites outside of the obvious franchises- My Bloody Valentine, Final Exam, House On Sorority Row, The Mutilator, Intruder, Just Before Dawn, Blood Rage, Sleepaway Camp, Terror Train, Humongous, Pieces, Happy Birthday To Me, The Dorm That Dripped Blood, Hide And Go Shriek

Japan's Evil Dead Trap is underrated, and could easily have been released during Japan's horror wave of the late 90s/early 2000s and fit right in.

Mexico had some really good, and fun horror films: Poison For the Fairies, Grave Robbers, Don't Panic, Cemetery Of Terror

Eyes Of Fire, The Forgotten One, The Nesting, Next Of Kin (1982) Ghostkeeper, Deadline, The Sound Of Silence, The Enchanted, The Territory, Mr. Wrong, Celia, Paperhouse are all really good, sadly almost forgotten (though some have found life on Blu Ray) creepy horror films.

For monster movies: The Pit, Cellar Dweller, The Boogens, The Unnamable, The Brain, TerrorVision are all worth checking out.
