When was the last time you stopped doing whatever it is you were doing and or took the time to think back on what you have accomplished and what your next steps forward will or might be.

the word you are seeking is reflection wherein a person ponders and examines their previous experience to gain knowledge and wisdom and perhaps insight into themselves and others...

A person who thinks about the past too much can not think about the future.

I walk at least a mile a day. Often more.

I think it is a good thing to look back from where you came to see just how far you have come...

I think you might be talking about the people that dwell in the past... no that isn't a good thing..

.Hmm.. soo 364 days in a year.

× your age... subtracting those first ten or twelve years where you're really not walking much...
Well.... a person can really put on the miles..lol

I forgot about the word reflection, but I will stick with the wording I had. I like to use words that paint a picture in your mind when reading, walk connects with the action and feeling of walking, while reflecting paints a still picture.

Since I learned to start walking when I was small until now:) I have been walking all through out my existence , in the so called journey of life. From time to time I think, plan and act, sometimes I stumble and fall yet it does not stop me from standing up again and take another step forward to get where I want to be. I keep on walking and somewhere along the way I gather stones of knowledge and wisdom to equip myself and be prepared for the challenges of life till I reach the final destination:smile: happy
