I didn't really get the point either. It also should have set up the next Thor movie, but it didn't really seem to. I guess we will have to wait and see. They just started filming Thor 3: Ragnarok. Anyone who the Ragnarok storyline knows that Thor dies in Ragnarok. Right, but Marvel will be changing that since they aren't going to give up a lucrative comic book series for the sake of history/myth. :) Actually that be giving it up. All contacts are up by the end of the next two part Avengers movie and in the comics other people take up the persona's of Captain America, Thor and Iron Man.... Disney will probably get some lesser paid actors and switch them out... They would be stupid to get rid of Downey though, they should offer that guy whatever he wants to keep him on. Iron Man really made all of these movies possible and well his appearance in Civil War doubled box office projections....... disney just wants to gay it up, thats all Pretty much. That and they don't want to pay the costs of big name actors when they can get other ones cheaper not realizing that the actors who made these roles popular would be a bigger draw making them more money. It's now been announced that Downey will be in the next Spider Man movie and possibly Thor 3, which isn't surprising since all of the Marvel movies he has been in since Iron Man 2 have crossed the billion dollar mark, doubling what Captain America 2 and Thor 2 made. That's why they included him in Civil War and it worked that fil is at 1.4 billion already and I believe Captain America 2 was only brought in 700 or 800 million........ I know that Mark Ruffalo (Hulk) is going to be in Thor 3 so it wouldn't surprise me if the rest of the Avengers cast is in it as well. Ruffalo is the only other Avenger that is going to be in it. Just remember what happens in storyline of Thor Ragnarok, Thor dies. Also the entire cast is confirmed, Ruffalo is the only other Avenger in the movie. It akes sense since Thor and the Hulk weren't in Civil War, mostly because either one of those characters could put an end to any of the characters who were all fighting. I have a hunch that if Thor lives after Thor 3, which is doubtful you will see a Thor\Banner\Hulk Union that brings the team back together for the infinity wars. Also Chris Pratt from Guardians of the Galaxy is going to be in the Infinity Wars movies! |

Favorites would be Thor The Hulk and Ironman, used to love those comics as a kid.

The last we saw of Thor's brother Loki, was that he had taken the throne of Asgard as was masquerading as Odin. I know that Anthony Hopkins is reprising the role for Thor 3. I can't wait to see what happened to Odin.
