Topic: Meat Loaf Dead? | |
---|---|
I am just reading about it online that he dropped down at is concert tonight in the middle of I would do anything for love, not moving and rushed to the hospital with no updates.....
I know he has a heart condition and Asthma. People at the concert were saying he was out of sync with the music in the songs before. I hope he is ok, if not his legacy will live on in his music, the Rocky Horror Picture Show and Fight Club. I am still praying he is ok..... |

Meat Loaf was hospitalized Thursday night from "severe dehydration" after collapsing during a concert in Edmonton, Alberta, with the singer listed in "stable and in good condition," the singer's rep said. "His vital signs are stable and normal — he's responsive and recovering well," the singer's rep wrote in a statement. "He extends his heartfelt thanks for everyone's support and well wishes, and is expecting a speedy and full recovery. Any concert postponements/rescheduled dates will be announced at a later time." Prior to the onstage collapse, Meat Loaf had canceled two upcoming performances – Saturday in Moose Jaw and Tuesday in Calgary – citing ill health. The singer has not yet provided an update on the status of his upcoming shows, including a Saturday night gig in Cold Lake, Alberta. In 2011, Meat Loaf also briefly passed out during a concert in Pittsburgh but, after a visit from medics, recovered and was able to complete the performance. Eight years earlier, at a Wembley Arena gig in 2003, the singer collapsed and was transported to a London hospital. The singer has previously blamed asthma and past concussions for his onstage blackouts. Good News! |

One thing I do remember about that show we saw.. and being in the front row... very close to him.. the sweat was pouring off him. He was sweating like I never saw a person sweat before.. he's a big guy and he is very animated in his songs.. easier to do when you are in your 30ies.. not so when you are in your 60ies was it a rocky horror picture show (wink) |

I know, I had it when I had the flu this year and I passed out cold and they had to get an ambulance to get me to the hospital. I woke with them putting me in a tub at the hospital with ice because my temp was 103.9. I was released that night... I have a hunch there is more too it and it has something to do with his heart. You are right however, this is awesome news! Oh yeah, and he is an awesome Republican! ![]() |
