I am glad you hold your mom in such high esteem.

I am going to come from a different angle here. I am a mom that has 2 wonderful sons.
My youngest bless his heart when he was in late teens and early 20's felt he had to bring every woman to meet me.

I finally had to tell him please don't anymore because when you break it off then call me crying. So instead only bring the ones you have dated for over 3 months. The ones that might be a keeper...


My other son never introduced me to a lady friends of his til he had been dating her for 6 months. I loved that about him and actually when I was introduced to whom he was dating I knew it was serious and not a fling, because of that I was more open and inviting.

I think anyone that is pushing to meet mom quickly is just that pushy... take your time and if you lady is as great as you say she is she will understand meeting the parents well that takes time.

There is no hard fast rule on "when" to meet family. I personally wouldn't don't worry about it. And if someone I was dating was like that then it would put me off a bit..
