I am ashamed that I allowed him to upset me.........I know who I am, and what I do is important to my company never knew that by using the words getting ready for inventory meant a minor job.......if only the man knew what I have to do to prepare for it since Im responsible for all of it, and the importance to the company for it being accurate

Puff -- here's what I do --

I stop and recognize the fact that getting angry is a decision I choose to make, whether consciously or not --

I remind myself that I have control over the decisions I make --

I tell myself that if someone is TRYING to make me angry, and I GET angry, then I am allowing that person to control me.

I recognize the fact that my anger will hurt me more than anyone else.

I'm not saying this is an easy process, particularly when something blindsides you out of nowhere and there's a knee-jerk anger repsonse. But it can be learned....
