There are certain of us who
Never can seem to control the surge
And the necessity to be loved;
Though bitten by the Love Bug black and blue,
Yet we seem to have this unearthly urge
To yet again have this so call "hopelessly romantic" heart robbed.

Then we have the poor souls dejected in love,
Who have fallen deep into a hole of remorse
For whom every living second is a nightmare come true - without their alleged "The One."
But still, their love and disparity for the one gone they shove,
On public platforms and in the form of elaborate-cryptic lore.
And yet they expect to be taken seriously; with such attempts that are isolated - none!

Now do explain why is it that some desire and crave for love
Like a thirsty man in a barren desert,
And some, though taught that the Cupid's arrow stings as it is pulled - yet seem to think
That Love is a symbol of peace, beautiful and divine as a dove;
Flying into uncharted skies bringing hope to the ones in awe and the souls that hurt?
Why don't they use the brain bestowed and step away from stupidity's brink?

Then there are some of us who
The likes of me, we have love - and do not wish to rid of it nor celebrate it.
Who wish to cherish it and embrace it - be it in the form of parents or friends, foes or romance, teachers or haters.
Is it too much to ask that we love the ones towards whom love is due?
Am I being cynical and rude if I ask people to tone their desperation or hate down a bit?
After all, even the noblest of words and the kindest of words when spoken may sound as slurs.

For those of you, who did not comprehend the message contained here within,
Do not be sad nor shun away in dismay.
It is just a one person's view of how desperate and ungrateful minds work.
Though to be anyone of them is not a sin,
And it is not being helpless if to any one of such you fall prey.
Desperation and Ungratefulness under every human, like a maggot under decaying skin lurks.

But, to believe "Love is all one needs",
Love is indeed all one needs...
And an IQ low enough to believed that.
Because if one searches for acceptance in someone else's deeds,
If some one else is the one who your vanity and soul must feed,
That isn't love, it is using someone to fulfill you heart's greed!

I must admit, I am the hopeless romantic who sees love as conquering everything. But most don't know what love is. As the bible says: "Love is patient. Love is kind. It is not jealous, is not pompous. It is not inflated. It is not rude. It does not seek it's own interest. It is not quick tempered. It does not brood over injury. It does not rejoice over wrong doing but rejoices with the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things." Most people don't even know what real love is. And love is hard so love conquering everything isn't a naive dreamers way of clouding reality with silly absurdity's but to know and understand the true definition of love is the wisdom of the ages and to live it is to conquer all!!!!!
