Hey Twitch..how are you??
Hey Dragoness...If this makes you a stick in the mud to protect yourself...then I am a happy to say that I am a stick in the mud!! I actually did have a real live stalker...its not fun, very very scary!! I feel like you will know when it is right to give someone your phone number. I think you go through the emails, then the IM's, then step it up to giving out your number IF it feels right. I think you just have to play it by how you feel. If it feels right, you will know!! |

unsure i am happy that you did the right thing by not giving him your number, i've had guys get all upset because they think that 10 mins of conversation that your suppose to give your number out, guess what it doesnt work that way. kick him to the curb and good luck to you.

Unsure -- when I get one of those, I figure too quick = red flag = bye! The phone number is not something I give out easily....

I don't usually give out my phone number either. If they really want to talk, I ask him for his phone number. Before I dial...I always *67 to make sure that my number comes up blocked so that it doesn't show up on caller ID.

Unsure ,
You sure seemed sure about what to do about this guy ! 10 minutes is barely enough time to say "Hi, how are you?", much less "What's your phone #?". You did the right thing. Better to regret NOT giving out your # rather than regret giving out your #. I know you don't regret not giving it out, but you know what I mean. Man or Woman, you can never be too careful with personal information. Bravo, Unsure ! |

Unsure, you did the right thing. There is a website that can actually provide an address to a phone number.
Better to be safe than sorry. |
