Why do people have to lie about what they do who they are and some put other people pic's on there profile. so my ? is online dating for real or is it a place to play games like your back in high school.

I think online dating reflects the real world. There are honest and dis-honest people. The internet and hiding behind a computer may make it a bit easier to not be upfront with people.
