If employers are required to provide a SAFE workplace how can that be done without knowing the background of employees? The same liberals who's idea it is for employers not to ask for a criminal background check are the same liberals who think that the employer should assume financial responsibility if one employee hurts another employee.

The Justice Dept is doing away with the words "felon" and "convict"....opting instead, to now go with "“person who committed a crime" and “individual who was incarcerated”. http://m.washingtontimes.com/news/2016/may/4/justice-dept-no-longer-use-terms-felon-convict/ You just gotta laugh sometimes

If employers are required to provide a SAFE workplace how can that be done without knowing the background of employees? The same liberals who's idea it is for employers not to ask for a criminal background check are the same liberals who think that the employer should assume financial responsibility if one employee hurts another employee. * Good point * Rehabilitated persons are returned to society. Well in my work place we still do background checks.. Heck we even run credit checks.. And yanno I am quite happy with it.

EVERY position is sensitive when it comes to employee safety....therefore background check should ALWAYS be done.
