Star Wars ( Happy late May the 4th ). Always go back to the original trilogy. My youngest could hum the Imperial March by the time he was a year old :)
Any of the old Godzilla movies...memories of afternoons spent eating grilled cheese and watching Monster Theater growing up on Saturdays after morning cartoons.
Classic Romero zombie movies...I consider them training films for the zombie apocalypse...
Disney animation...having raised children, there's a few that were worn out several times over on VHS

Wow, I just realized I completely outed myself as a Nerd, but that's okay, I own it regardless :P

LOL, thank you, now "Reproduction" from Grease 2 is stuck in my head. In fact, I sang Summer Lovin' with a lady at karaoke 2 weeks ago. Always a classic.

Any Clint Eastwood movie is a win, from the old spaghetti westerns right up to Gran Torino ( even Space Cowboys was "okay" ). adivorcedone, look up the Japanese remake of Unforgiven sometime to see what it would be like with Samurai...worth a look, IMO

The Marvel movies get a lot of play in my house, too. Even went with my Dad to see Deadpool despite the fact he's 69 years old (He's a nerd, too, just older )

Guilermo del Toro's movies are always watchable, though some aren't appropriate for my youngest.

Studio Ghibli hold's a big spot in my media shelf on blu ray. They're much like Disney, timeless classics usually with a lesson hidden inside. my 20 year old stepdaughter wants a Totoro tattoo bad despite her fear of needles.

A lot of what I watch involves subtitles, it's fascinating what other countries put out, at least to me.

edit: coffee pot is slow this morning, as am I. Spelling mistakes

There are some movies you can't just over with! You just still wanna watch over and over and over over again laugh

First of all you need to know that I have over 5,000 3D Blurays, Blurays, DVD's, VHS Tapes and I have approximately 1,000 movies I bought and are loaded into my Amazon account that my Amazon Fire TV and my Amazon Fire Stick (Voice Activated, you just press a button and tell the remote what you want to watch and it brings it right up on screen and you can get the movies in Standard, or High Definition and the High Definition is crystal clear, better then a Bluray but you do need WIFI). It also lets your rent movies, I think for like $1.59 to $1.99. I would totally recommend it. Also the Fire stick is portable and you can take it if you travel, it just plugs into any HDMI slot and works with every hotels internet WIFI setup. You also get TV stations like Showtime, HBO, Starz etc.

Star Wars A New Hope, Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back, Star Wars Return of the Jedi, Star Wars the Phantom Menace, Star Wars Attack of the Clones, Star Wars Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars The Force Awakens. Also Fanboys, it is a really funny comedy about five best friends who are trying to break into Skywalker ranch to see the new Star Wars movie before anyone else. Fanboys has an awesome cast and cameos by Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia), Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrisian), William Shatner, Jay and Silent Bob (reprising their roles from their hit movies Dogma, Mall Rats, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Clerks, Clerks 2, Chasing Amy, Zac and Miri Make a Porno), Seth Rogan, Kristen Bell (Wearing the same thong bikini that Princess Leia wore in Return of the Jedi and is gorgeous and so sexy!), Danny Trejo, Ray Park (He played Darth maul in Star Wars the Phantom Menace), Sam Huntington (The kid who played Tim Allen's son in Jungle 2 Jungle) and many others! It is a really funny movie that I would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Also Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Iron Man 3, Thor, Thor 2: The Dark World, Captain America, Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier, The Avengers, The Avengers 2: Age of Ultron, Guardians of the Galaxy, Ant-Man, Deadpool, The Green Lantern, Batman (1960's version), Batman (Tim Burtons version), Batman Returns, Batman Forever and Batman and Robin.

In Addition to that Dirty Grandpa, Apt Pupil, Valkyrie, Conspiracy (It's a 100% accurate true story about the Wannsee Conference held by the Nazi Party in World War II) Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters, Crocodile Dundee, Crocodile Dundee 2, Crocodile Dundee 3, Sleepy Hollow, Dark Shadows, The Ninth Gate (One of Johnny Depp's better movies) Ted 2 (I hated the first Ted movie, the second is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen), Argo, Friday, Next Friday, Friday After Next, Lottery Ticket, The Players Club, The A-Team, Bio-Dome, Mind Hunters, Snow Dogs, Old Dogs, Boat Trip (The Unrated Version is another movie that I think is one of the funniest I have ever seen), Anger Management, Winter Break, My Cousin Vinny, The Skulls, The Skulls 2, The Skulls 3, The Smurfs, The Smurfs 2, Shrek, Shrek 2, Shrek 3, Shrek 4, Blade, Blade 2, Blade 3, Waiting (Ryan Reynolds best and funniest movie), Waiting 2: Still Waiting, Bad Boys, Bad Boys 2, Independence Day, Armageddon, Fun With Dick and Jane (I am not really a Jim Carrey fan at all), Liar Liar, The Mummy, The Mummy Returns, The Mighty Ducks, D2: The Mighty Ducks 2, D3 The Mighty Ducks 3, The Family (Robert DeNiro is so funny in this), Welcome to Mooseport, Gone Fishin', Meet the Parents, Meet the Fockers, Little Fockers, Transformers, Transformers 2, Transformers 3, Transformers 4, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Shock Treatment (The Sequel to The Rocky Horror Picture Show), The Wedding Ringer, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure and Bill, Ted's Bogus Journey and The Stand just to name a few!

Also I have a couple of TV shows I can watch over and over again and take a weekend or a day or two and binge watch them. I can and love to do that with Gotham (Amazing, it's really funny and action packed and it really tells the story of Detective Jim Gordon from his first day on the job and working his way up to the Police commissioner. It also goes into detail about how Bruce Wayne becomes Batman and the origins of all of the villains, each episode is generally dedicated towards one of the villains and then in season two it gets amazing. I don't want to tell everyone and spoil it you know?).

I also am addicted to Criminal Minds and it's two spin offs Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior and Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders. I also really like the new Hawaii 5-0, it is really funny. Also I love NCIS: Los Angeles, it is really funny as well. It is about the NCIS Office of Special Projects, the under cover unit of NCIS based in Los Angeles. I also like Law and Order SVU (Ice T is amazing, so was Richard Belzer before he left the show as a main cast member. He really lightened up the show and had some really funny parts, luckily he comes back every once and a while for an episode or a few minutes of an episode).

Another good TV show is called Alcatraz, they only made thirteen episodes and you can get the DVD version got like $6.99 at Wal-Mart (It has Comedian Jorge Garcia, who has been a main cast member named Jerry a conspiracy theory obsessed with conspiracy theory's and who has been on Hawaii for the past few seasons. It also has Sam Neill and Sarah Jones as main cast members.) It is pretty cool, it was created, written and directed by JJ Abrams and the plot is basically in 1963 Alcatraz didn't close, all of the prisoners, guards and warden all disappeared one night (Over 250 in total) and they reappear at the present time of 2012 and they have not aged at all and their criminal mentality becomes more brutal, methodical and vicious. It is definitely worth the few dollars to buy, I guarantee you will watch it over and over.

Another one I LOVED was a TV series that ran for three seasons on Fox called The Following. You can get all three seasons on Bluray, DVD, Amazon instant video, Netflicks etc. I recommend you purchase it because you will watch it over and over again. It is amazing and stars Kevin bacon as an FBI Profiler that is trying to capture a cult of serial killers. It is a very dark TV show and it is really worth the time and money.

I also like Lucifer which is on Fox on Monday nights.

There are two outstanding TV shows that are Amazon exclusives Catastrophe (It is the funniest TV show ever made, it is pretty crude and has a lot of dark humor and it will make you laugh until you cry. The other is called The Man in the High Castle and it is basically about the Nazi's and Japan winning World War 2 and the outcome where Japan has Hawaii, Oregon and Washington and parts of Nevada as the Pacific States of America and a small neutral zone which is the Rocky Mountain States that is a buffer between Japan and Germany (Which are in the middle of a Cold War similar to what the US and the West had with Russia) the rest of the country is The Greater German Reich under control of Nazi Germany. (If your an Amazon Prime Member you get all the episodes of both TV shows for free if not you can order the Bluray, DVD version or buy each episode for $1.99 each. At the very least check out Catastrophe, you wont be disappointed.
