Is this statistic important? Why are we so far behind...we are beat by Luxemburg... |

Hahahahahahaha
Hello to you too! |
If you look Timorek it says new subscribers.
Maybe we are falling behind because we have had broadband for years while others who lag behind us are just now getting broadband! |
Ahhhhhhhhh....
But I don't think so.
It is the number of subscribers per 100 people. Correct? |
correct, new subscribers? I think, but its only a table.
Also Americans have a number of options. Cable, satellite, (Ive been thinking of getting my internet through Direct TV lately as the price is coming down. Its hardly anyone that uses dial-up anymore! I was telling someone the other day, for every 1 person I know that has the internet at home, I know 10 that dont and dont want it! It really is a minority of Americans that use it, and most that do do so for school or have children that use it for school! Its kind of being forced on us!! |
And there are thousand who use only laptops!!
not sure what the lap top remark is about
but if you mean wi-fi thats cool and satalite and dsl or maybe the economy is sinking so low it is becoming unaffordable |
yes wifi, laptops?
I believe that table is just new subscribers, but it doesnt tell much!! The link is a little short on words! |

What about size of the country? How about population density? Those are important things to look at. Due to the size of the US, many places don't have broadband access. A country the size of Luxemburg could be wired in months, while it will take decades for the US to be fully wired. This is just another useless statistic that means absolutely nothing outside of itself.
