One of my ex's, my very first one, who was my childhood sweetheart, got revenge on me for breaking up with him. Fair enough if I'd cheated on him, but I told him why I didn't want to be with him anymore. He first got a dangerous gang, to constantly torture me where I lived with my mum and my sister. They would constantly be sat outside of our house, watching everything I did. Then it got out of hand. They started to not just shout abuse at me. They would also throw stones, fireworks, bricks, etc, at our windows. I had an excruciating bowel illness. I didn't need it. I eventually ended up in psychiatric hospital because of Chris and his cronies. I knew he was instigating it, because the police tracked everything he did. The police told me to keep rejecting him, if he asked to get back in touch with me. I remember Chris kept visiting my house, to tell me he had improved, but it was always going to be a bit late for that. I'd found someone else to date. Thankgod the dr's at the psychiatric hospital moved me away from that mess. I feel a lot better since Stephen took me under his wing. I was just glad he looked out for me.

You have been to Hell and back. Very best of luck:smile:

I regret the times I ignored that little voice inside me that told me "no way this is right" because it always made a painful detour in my life that often did not do anything but re-enforce what I already knew.

If I only knew then as I do now:smile:

"Experience is an expensive teacher. Sometimes the only way you can avoid making future mistakes is to look back at past regrets and learn from them."

When we figure we know it all it is too late:smile:

blushing Do you have any regrets in your life and if so, what was the one that had the greatest impact. sad2

A ton of em. Easily the worst was trying drugs at age 14. The next 12 years were hellish because of the series of events that took place after that mistake. I've been clean for over a decade & still paying the price , so that was an easy question to answer ;-)

Hindsight is a b...ch. You never stop paying for mistakes.

** One of my so many regrets:

* I think a longer page is needed the the web site can provide. laugh

** One that comes to mind was a Y in the road that we often consider after the fact. At one time we would launch things into the sky. You could call them rockets, when they launched or campfires when they just inflamed.
* I think we were getting close to low orbit if we had stayed focused and were not so concerned about blowing ourselves up. And there was the little problem about by-laws and air-rights. Jeez! Ice rockets might have worked better. ahhh next time

No need to cry over spilt milk
No regrets here... Doesn't having regrets ensure baggage?
Mooving on.....
