Proponents of keeping cats indoors offer several arguments to make their case. Roaming cats prey on birds and can get slammed by trucks, they say, and might eat rat poison or lap up anti-freeze. Here’s another one, and it was broadcast live for all to see: They can be devoured — by birds. [The cat people vs. bird people war has made it to federal court] In this particular case, by what seems to be a very hard-core eagle couple that resides in eastern Pittsburgh, and whose domestic life is streamed live on a web cam. Mom and Dad have two young beaks to feed, and cam viewers learned Tuesday just how seriously they take that job. Late that afternoon, one adult was in the nest with the shiny black babies when the other swooped down and dumped something. Clear as day, there it was: a small, limp, brown-and-white cat. In a YouTube video of the incident, everyone looked a little puzzled for a minute, then one of the adults dragged the feline to the other side of the nest. Well actually, this is a common occurrence here in AK... When I lived in Sitka is wasn't uncommon for small dogs or animals to be swooped up by an Eagle. Eagles are scavengers and they eat meat pretty much...
So if you don't want your critters eaten or swooped up put on leash keep close to you or keep them inside. My poodle living in this lifestyle is always looking above her not a common thing for a dog to do but she is well aware she is part of the food chain lol |

If humans would just interfering and thinking they 'know better than nature" then the problem would work itself out.
Its nature people, been happening for long, long, long time....cats are animals as are birds...let them figure it out...after all they're still here.....the cats don't need to be removed, the birds don't need removed...the only thing needing removal is the human elements |

Its nature people, been happening for long, long, long time....cats are animals as are birds...let them figure it out...after all they're still here.....the cats don't need to be removed, the birds don't need removed...the only thing needing removal is the human elements
