Dusk. Red arms sway softly above me. Gifts of gold, orange, turmeric and chili fall crown me, lull me to sit beneath your majestic canopy. Reach me. Enfold your roots around me, draw me closer. Sing breathless tales from long ago when the wind stirs your voice. Tell me what you have seen beneath these boughs. And I shall tell you what I have seen beyond your sight. |
