yes it is..26 is old in my country..lots of woman marries and bear a child at an early stage.. Yes....it is true........especially in most countries in South East Asia. At 40....you are considered old age. At 55 ( my age) MOST men ( Asian) will not even glance at you........ They thought you are fit for Old Aged home. Unless you have properties or assets , so they can retired nicely. I think that will change real fast, it probably is already changing as Western culture will infiltrate yours. And it has, via internet etc. In the past, people over here were considered old at the age of 40-50 just the same. And at that time, they were old then too, due to physical hard work, poor hygiene, wrong /lacking nutrition etc. And of course in the eyes of a 20 yrs old, a 40-50 yr old will be considered old. But also in Western society, women 40-50 are often considered not interesting by men their age, as they prefer a young chick at their arm to boost their ego.  You are right, Crystal It is the mentality of the society . Most of them are slowly embracing Western culture.It will take times. It is the same here, most of the men of 40s, 50s or even 60s are busy looking for young chicks across the sea.  Anyway, I had already given up hope of ever dating Asian men...long time ago. Had married one and divorced. Marrying him is like marrying the whole village of mothers, aunties, great aunties, in-laws, outlaws.......etc ...etc.  |

...so afraid to fall inlove,but since im not getting any younger,i have to try getting myself out of the box..take the risk of falling and getting hurt all over again..like what they say.."if u want something youve never had,youve got to do something youve never done" lol... your 26... you still lots of getting hurt to go through yet... I forget that in other countries, they view things differently. Not that I mean to sound ignorant, but you never find out these things, unless you hear it from someone else. Too bad there's pressure on you to find a man. -big hug- I'm fed up of people having pressure put upon them. |
