A lot of people do not see the difference. Personality is friendly vs reserved Easy going vs intense Personality is what attracts us, but is it a basis for love? Character is depth-integrity-true honesty and truthfulness. Some people fall in love with personality only to discover the other's true character and then are shocked to discover the flaws in their loved one. "Thoughts?" Yeah....don't tell me you make a mean cinnamon roll only for me to discover that you went out and bought Cinabon.  EWWW those are icky.. Homemade all the way.. I'm all about the other person's personality... I could care less about their character... if they like clubbing baby seals over the head.. or think it's okay to get stinking drunk on Saturday night and then go to church on Sunday morning that's on them.. But if their personality is flat..well.. That's a game changer..lol I have a question... No1 .. how does that type of characteristics not come into play with the personality? I guess he really doesn't know how personality and character interrelates...One cannot do without the other...Personality makes up the character, and character defines a person's personality...They are inseparable...even up to the "Mental Institution"....lolzzz
