A herb of the mint family whose flowers and evergreen leaves have long been used as a flavouring for foods and beverages and as a folk medicine. The plant has a sweet scent and a warm, bitter taste. A strong tea made of the leaves and sweetened with honey is a traditional remedy for nose, throat.

"Purge me with Hyssop, and I shall be clean;
wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow"

- Psalms 51:7

OH, How, wonderful, to grow your own healing garden, next year I'll be starting mine too.

Gotta love that sweet grass, and sage, they are all so devine...

I burn it and then cover myself in the smoke, while in a spiritual state, pointing myself in, north,west,east, and south positions When I smudge, I let the smoke go over and around my head and I inhale the aroma. I offer some smoke to my heart area, around my back, and down my arms and legs. I pay special attention to parts in my body holding tension or in special needs of nourishment or healing. I offer a prayer of thanksgiving each time I smudge. I let the smoke carry my prayers to the heavens.

Now, if this was made aware of, the John Wayne, would still be alive today, something so simple to cure, yes god has given use the herbs to heal, hence he made not mistake, in adding maryjane, another fine herb....
