Snuggles, I would have enjoyed it more, if there were more re-enactors to speak with. I had the opportunity last year to spend 5 days in Connecticut. Mystic Seaport is wonderful. It is a late 1700 fishing/ship building village.

if I can ever retire I would like to explore the USA.........get a 5thwheel camper, pick up truck and discover the joys and delights.........see some of the famous spots......but find the out of the way places

Snuggles, I understand how things are right now. I'm going through some of that myself. But we need to hold on to our dreams. I really miss doing the little travelling I've done. I'd really love to see the Grand Canyon.
