america.........english and spanish






only 2 languages but very important.........to be like the south american countries who get paid diddly squat you must know english, french, spanish, german anddddddddd russian.......sad eh?

I'm not sure English is still the offical language here in England....it was yesterday! I think. :-)

right now the majority of people in the usa speak english, the only point of making it "official" is to insult the people who dont and the majority of people who speak other languages have english as a second language

i don't think english could be the only federal language

i do how ever feel that english should be the primary federal

language

and spanish the secondary approved federal language

having a bilateral language of the country is much better

than not having any set language

and there are enough spanish speaking people to deem it necessary

after all a lot of this country was first conquered by
spanish speaking people

I agree it should be official. I think immigration needs to be reformed. I think you should have to be able to put something into the country if you are gonna live in it and if you can't speak the language than you can't really do much in society. Why do we let in illegals from mexico and turn down educated people from other countries? Big Business.. where do you think senators and presidential candidates get their millions of dollars for campaign funds? Our country just keeps going down hill and its not gonna get any better anytime soon.
