It takes glass one million years to decompose, which means it never wears out and can be recycled an infinite amount of times woooww! That was my reaction. I never thought about anything being recycled more than once. aluminum and copper can be as well... glass is just melted sand, or silica, so it has no limit on recycling... |

I don't think glass actually decomposes. It can weather if left exposed but glass is made of melted rock and some of that rock is still around billions of years later.
