Sorry for my grammar(english was my third language)..plz bare with me..My ex once suggested to see a psychiatric as he thought I might be showing signs of depression like lose of appetite, always feeling sleepy, mood swings. I first thought he was joking(he is a depression person himself) but later on I came to mark and observe my behaviour..I do used to get jealous when people tried to ignore me..I always wanted to be the centre of attraction but would get upset when someone else get that attention.. When my parents didn't give me my full attention I sometimes used to throw a tantrum..I really wanted to see my family therapist but then I think they would think am just doing it just for attention..without proper treatment I guess I'll ho mad about it..I cry a lot..I have lost my self confident within myself..I think I am a loser with a big O..
Thank you guys for reading my post..please feel free to comment or give suggestions..god bless you

Blondey111 is quite right when she says take professional help.
I would like to reword her advise: a slower version.

The good news is you described your problem well;
Even better is..
milder versions of it fit many of us here. :smile:

So if we take a gander at ADHD?
it's normal (mild to severe) in childhood
(transition from home to school: the first taste of abandonment)
and as Ms. B said, parts of it may carry over to adults

At 24: you already have an ex.
given you are in India, that's being well ahead in the game
check back whether you had ADHD before say, you started working.
If no, or was manageable; there's your answer.
(will return to this in a moment)

Now as you describe the symptoms:
when one is moody (emotional) appetite loss is normal
with appetite loss; sleepiness (tiredness /lack of energy) is normal
and then say one has a cup of tea, energy spikes --> mood swings
that is also to normal!!

There's a lot in what TM has said: Narcissism.
Notice how movie actors are famous for mood swings?
It's extremely difficult for them to come out of the
'character' they play. The industry / media accept it as part of their job hazard.

Now if your present job requires 'acting skills'...
Even a job of an air-hostess in India is considered glamorous;
It's less stressful in a Western society.
work out why - and there's your answer

it's not my intention to make light of your 'medical' situation
but while you seek out a good counselor;
(not the family doctor, of course)
consider the adage: patient, heal thyself.

24 is also the final time one gets to think out ambition,
think where you want to be in 5 years - time flies
(today, at my age; i can literally see time flying; as if countdown has begun.)

As in one of our topics here 'Destiny':
Drift or paddle to Destiny (yours to choose)
or
As Steve said to young adults: "Get Hungry / Stay Hungry"
--xx--

I learn a lot in M2 and so this 'pro bono' laugh

my impression is you are a very smart person.
Good wishes. flowerforyou
