Bizarre .. 8 + hrs of news on this, & (again) too many variations, (on another plane crash). It takes off from a popular resort town in the Himalayas , to a mountain, popular for hikers.

A 19 minute flight .. then we hear it is missing & then... it tares apart in 8 min. ? (lost contact w/craft) or it crashed directly into the mountain ? or it was weather related? or pilot error ?
All 23 people, mostly from Kuwait are dead.

Most are tourists or Hindus making a pilgrimage to a Temple.
As tragic as this is. And no disrespect to the families of the dead. But WHY board the plane when there is such a bad aviation history ?

I find this whole disaster bizarre spock

Well its not like United or any other major carriers fly there so your stuck with the little puddle jumper aircraft run by locals

True.. But.. tourist, resort town.
They made a bad choice & probably a conscious one.
What is the likelyhood that they didn't know, the history?
Real slim .
