Extensive damage has been reported in Ascension, Iberville and Livingston parishes. Officials have not reported any injuries.
Reports of power lines down.

Mississippi has been hit. Near an airport. Reports say all flights may be cancelled.

FIRST ALERT: Tornado watch issued for multiple AL counties

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Multiple counties in the WSFA viewing area are under a tornado watch until early Wednesday morning.

Montgomery, Autauga, Elmore, Lowndes, Dallas, Macon, Lee, Tallapoosa, Coosa, Chilton, Bullock, Baurbour and Pike counties are under a tornado watch until midnight on Wednesday.

Monroe, Conecuh, Butler, Crenshaw, Covington, Houston, Henry, Coffee, and Dale counties are under a tornado watch until 3 a.m.

Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley issued a statewide state of emergency Tuesday in anticipation of severe weather moving through the state.

The declaration will ensure state resources are available and can be deployed if necessary, the governor stated.

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The National Weather Service has a tornado warning in effect for Baker, Early, Miller, Mitchell, Calhoun, and Dougherty Counties.

955 people are currently without power in Lee county. Sheriff officials have been off the road due to high winds.

NWS has reported a tree blown down on Hickory Ridge Court in Lee County.

Residents are advised to stay indoors and away from all windows.

Florida:

The National Weather Service confirmed tornado has hit Pensacola, Florida.

A tornado ripped apart an apartment complex in Pensacola, Florida Tuesday night.

Three buildings at the Moorings Apartments on Old Spanish Trail Road were hit. Only the bottom floors remain.

At least 6 injured - extent of injuries is unknown
