so ive got earthlink as my net provider and im trying to install world of warcraft on my pc, earthlink has its own protection control center that i use instead of norton, when it gets time to download the wow patch i get a message telling me that my pc is behind a firewall, when i turn off the firewall to try and let wow get by: nothing
any help would b much appreciated |

You might try turning off earthlink protection and see if you can download the patch then? You may have to talk to earthlink if you have your microsoft firewall turned off and the earthlink protection off. They could be blocking it too...

i tried turning off the firewall n it just didnt load at all instead of giving me the firewall message, and its earthlink dialup
