Poem
In the absence of other Then thoughts I suppose And your touch I miss so As my computer knows I will stay near right now And create you some prose In a type that might rhyme As it comes and it goes My days full with stalking An elusive prey And my sanity threatens To leave me someday Here are a few thoughts of you From a mind far away I miss your touch Like I mentioned above It might be quite redundant But for the one that I love My head is so full Of this amorous stuff And sometimes what I say I can’t say enough I miss your hellos And I miss your good-byes I miss the scent of your neck And to gaze in your eyes To stroke your fine hair And rub your burdens away What more of a future need I But to be by your side everyday Though it’s well past sundown And the day's warmth is gone You live in my mind Every noon dusk and dawn And if anywhere near Lays a more truthful part Is that you never have To search for my heart For with my family it lives Though I’m not sure in which room Perhaps down with the laundry Though that I wouldn’t assume But it’s there close beside you And new without It will help ease your worries And allay all your doubt And the day can’t be far That I’m looking to Where I’ll spring here From Dante’s And Be there With you ©MDM |
