The pink evening sky melts into twilight,
Tiny stars sprinkle the velvet canvas,
Your memory closes it's jaws, impressed on the heart,

So many years
You would think the flavor

Revives hope,
Like tulips breaking snow,
Silently as we dream that

Restoration of faith
In humanity
Some of it, at least; because

Whispering promises,
Little flutters,
Pollinators of imagination,

Is it reincarnation,
Some cosmic revolve,
Heart shaped
Sweet love lingers.

Low grade warmth,
Tingling in the toes,
To full nose,
