Besides the obvious being single or newly single
but on the threads some were saying that its getting boring so here is a new topic, for me I found myself at the end of a long marriage and I wanted to see what and who is out there its been a long time, and if nothing else to see whats going on in the single world. I'm new so I enjoy the forums right now but, hey I all for good conversation and a bit of silliness too So what say you? |

I was on another site, and met some amazing people, developed friendships, a common admiration for each other, with great dynamics within a core group of about 40 or so posters to the international forums.
Through some moderating/management issues of the site, a huge proportion of forum posters moved from that site, to this one. I didn't join here because I am single, I joined for the interaction on the forums. |

A long time friend told me about free sites. I didn't know there were free sites. I googled, found JSH, and stayed.

Well, lemme see...I was on another site for a long time. It began to go downhill. I had a lot of friends there. I didn't want to lose them. So...i was building a site, and i ran across this one, i was actually getting ideas, but i liked this one so thats why there is a sudden influx of new ppl here.

tried several other dating sites and still have not found my Miss Right. This is probably the last stop for me. I've been praying for her and asking God to send her to me but I thought I might help him out.

I'm not really sure. I am dating a couple of guys right now. I've never been on site before and said what the hell -- never know what can happen. I've gotten to know quite a few people (both men and women) and I have a good time in the forums and I like the people.

I met two people last year on other sites, they were absolute disasters, I'm an idiot and thought I'd try another site!

I was in College and on the computer alot. decided to check it out and it keeped me from being bored. And I just ended a 5 year relationship so it was good to talk to new woman.
