Hello there,
I'm Casey and I'm new to this site.

As of late July I broke off what I concidered my first serious relationship to which a man didn't treat me like dirt or just want to play around as 'the other woman'. I was in this relationship for a little over 2 years. Before then, I lived in a small town and had very few friends and never felt attractive or desirable. Having been with a great guy who treated me well for a change, my confidence grew and I then realized the kind of man I deserve.

Many obsticles came up for us during the last few months and we separated, which I still believe was the right choice. But now I find myself single and confident and living on my own in a city for the first time. All of a sudden I became desirable and people actually wanted to date me. It's a new world but being single and dating casually at this point in my life is some of the most fun I've ever had socially! I was just wondering if anyone else felt like that?

I remember a time where I felt nothing but lonely and incomplete without someone to hold me and care about me, but now I feel fine with the idea of going to bed alone sometimes. I like being single! Who's with me? :P

Good for you, Casey! Enjoy this time and keep learning more about yourself and what you want out of life. A good man will come along when he's supposed to!

Being single saves money and drama. Plus you don't have to call someone every night or worry about looking at members of the opposite sex the wrong way. Being single is pretty damn good.

It has it's benifits and downsides, everything does.

I agree that being single and dating can be exciting because you just never know who you will meet but then again, I'm sure finding "the one" is better because then you don't have to deal with all of the BS that goes along with this dating crap. Hmm, so yeah I guess as newkid said, everything has good and bad sides.

good for you to be so confident in yourself. you are a pretty gal and i think you are smart also going by what you said in your post.good luck and have fun.

Keep doing what makes you happy and things will fall into place and when they do you'll be ready for them because you stayed true to yourself.

I like where I am now. I'm dating and mingling and feeling good about it for the first time in my life. I always felt low and scummy when I was meeting up with men a while back. Gaining confidence in myself over time really helped me out. It just took the right people to get me to see who I could be!

Your a good looking Lady.. why would you ever think your not attractive? Everyone is beautiful in their own ways.. you are beautiful.. just trust me on this one
