Is there any advice out there for a newly divorced female? I have been in a relationship for 23 years and now, living on my own. My marriage ended many, many years ago, but I have just recently finalized my divorce.
I have four beautiful children (13, 14, 19, and 26), plus I have a 7 year old granddaughter.

I'm am now ready to enjoy life.

I have made several good friends here on JSH in the year Ive been on here. Like you I spent several years married and just finalized my papers in Aug. SO Im spreading my wings and just enjoying life. I have 3 children (22, 21 & 16 ) and 1 1 month old grandbaby.
Like every thing in life you gotta be careful cuz it's sad there are a few bad apples in every bucket,,, but for the most part, you will find caring, geniune ppl here and I have really had a blast posting poetry and throwing my two cents in here n there. I have met the love of my life on this site, soon to be married .. this site has some really nice people u can talk too and laugh with and get silly with, so i must say i do love this site and in time u will too, just give it a chance!!

New to site also...Glad to hear I'm not the only one who had the "longest seperation" in civil court history...married for 17 year, separated for the last 8 and finally untied the knot 8 mos. ago...he went kicking and screaming! Wanted his cake and eat it too. So how do you explain that to people? I'm very new to dating again....would appreciate any tips!
